Tuna Tataki recipe

With the arrival of barbecue season, it's time to get out your grills and explore new ways to enjoy deliciously grilled dishes. And what better way to start this season than with a tuna tataki recipe served on a refreshing green salad? 

This fusion of Asian flavors and fresh ingredients is a true summer delight. Get ready to wow your guests with this simple yet tasty recipe that's sure to add an exotic touch to your barbecue menu! 

Ingredients for the tuna tataki recipe 

Preparation for the Tuna Tataki recipe 

Preheat barbecue to medium heat. 

Prepare vinaigrette by mixing olive oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside. 

Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat or prepare an indirect cooking zone on the barbecue. 

Meanwhile, spread the sesame seeds on a flat plate. 

Once the pan is hot or the barbecue is ready, place the tuna steak on top and cook quickly on each side, about 30 seconds to 1 minute per side, depending on the thickness of the steak. The goal is to sear the outside of the tuna while leaving the inside raw. 

Remove the tuna steak from the heat and roll in the sesame seeds to coat evenly. 

Leave the tuna steak to rest for a few minutes, then slice into 1cm slices. 

Meanwhile, arrange the cherry tomatoes and diced peppers on a bed of mixed green salad. 

Place the tuna slices on top of the salad. 

Before serving, drizzle the salad and tuna with the vinaigrette prepared earlier. 

Serve immediately and enjoy!
