Recipe for Cookie dough humus
What’s better than a delicious snack that combines health and indulgence? Today, we’re giving a classic a sweet twist: cookie dough hummus. This recipe is perfect for both kids and adults, whether for a fun breakfast or an afternoon snack. Plus, it only takes a few minutes to prepare!
Ingredients for the cookie dough hummus recipe
1 can (540 ml) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1/4 cup almond butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
A pinch of salt
2 tbsp plant-based milk or water
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions for the cookie dough hummus recipe
Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
In a food processor, add the chickpeas, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate chips, and salt. Blend until smooth.
Add the plant-based milk or water, one spoonful at a time, until you get a creamy, spreadable consistency.
Transfer the hummus to a bowl and top with extra chocolate chips.
Place the hummus in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavours to blend nicely
