Shipping and Handling

We will ship your package quickly and with the utmost care so that you can enjoy your purchases as soon as possible — anywhere in Canada!

Handling

Orders are prepared within 24 to 48 business hours, excluding weekends and public holidays.

If additional time is needed — for example, if a product is out of stock — we will contact you within that same timeframe.

Shipping

We offer shipping throughout Canada.

Our deliveries are handled by Canada Post, Nationex, or LivRapide. The choice of carrier is at La Moisson’s discretion, based on the most favorable conditions for our customers.

Delivery Times

Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier, as well as during holidays.

Shipping Address

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a valid and accurate shipping address. An incorrect address may result in the package being lost or returned to La Moisson.

Once the package has left La Moisson, customer service cannot redirect it to another address.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the return and reshipping fees will be charged to the customer.

La Moisson does not ship outside of Canada.

Unclaimed Package at Canada Post Office

A package not picked up by the customer at the post office will be returned to La Moisson after the timeframe determined by Canada Post.

If a package is returned to us because it was not picked up in time, the return and reshipping fees will be charged to the customer.

Shipping Fees

Actual shipping fees are set by the carrier.

Flat Rate Fees

A flat shipping fee of $9.95* plus tax applies to any order of $94.99 or less, before taxes and after discounts.

*Remote areas and certain semi-remote regions may incur fees higher than $9.95. See the “Surcharge Fees” section below.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. If the actual shipping cost exceeds the amount paid by the customer, La Moisson will cover the difference up to a maximum of $20.

Free Shipping

QUEBEC AND ONTARIO

Shipping is free for all orders of $95** or more in Quebec and Ontario.

La Moisson covers the shipping cost up to a maximum of $20.

Surcharge Fees

Surcharge fees may apply under certain conditions, such as the shipping address, package volume, and/or weight.

Surcharges are calculated at checkout. However, if undetected surcharges apply — particularly related to package volume — the customer will be contacted and can choose to pay the extra fees or cancel the order.

Surcharge fees apply automatically if:

  • The package exceeds 13 kg or requires a second box

  • The delivery address is far from a major urban center

  • The package is sent to a remote Canadian region

In-Store Only Products

Some items listed on this website are not eligible for shipping — including, but not limited to, fresh, overly heavy, or oversized products. In such cases, a “In-store only” label will be displayed.
