Bach Flower Clematis, for a clear mind Clematis vitalba, of the Ranunculaceae family, is a bushy plant sometimes nicknamed hedge clematis or beggar's weed. It thrives in generous amounts of sunlight, provided it is planted in the shade. It grows spontaneously along watercourses, on the edges of woods, in bushes and forests up to 2,000 m altitude. Robust, it can live for around thirty years. From a purely botanical point of view, the white vine clematis is a sarmentose liana that can reach 20 metres in height. The smooth bark of its branched stems turns yellowish grey over time, then peels off in strips. Its deciduous, oval, twisted-stalked leaves are medium green. Its greenish-white flowers have spiral carpels and stamens. They bloom from July to September and are very fragrant at the end of the day. The fruit of the white vine clematis are silvery achenes bearing a silky feather duster that persists well into the winter. Ingredients : 27% v/v grape alcohol, aqueous solution of Clematis vitalba L. flowers (1:500 dilution).
