Gentian, a bach flower full of determination The gentian actually refers to thirty species of flowers that are found throughout Europe. Sometimes grown in the gardens, it is above all a wild plant. Often with a very rich and deep blue color, it attracts the eye. With its long tubular corolla, its shape is both special because it looks like a trumpet. It measures most often from fifteen to twenty centimeters and usually grows into groups. The Bach Gentian flower is a strong plant, which knows how to accommodate on sometimes difficult floors, and especially limestones, because it is found mainly in the mountains, in the meadows, but also on the cliffs or on the dunes. It also has a remarkable adaptability. Indeed, it closes on itself when it rains or feels a wave of cold arriving. A movement that can be very fast when necessary, only about twenty seconds. In order to survive, it can also stay closed for a long time, until the temperature rises or the rain stops. She then opens her petals in the sun, determined to grope with heat.
