The liquid iodine provides a high concentration of iodine, derived from kelp and algae, in a glycerine suspension for maximum absorption and use, and helps the proper functioning of the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland needs iodine to synthesize thyroxine and tri-iodothyronine.
