Je vous sers un «Protéine et Greens» ?

Shall I serve you a “Protein and Greens”?

Eat according to your body's needs

Eating well, that is to say eating what our body really needs, in sufficient quality and variety, is not necessarily that easy. And it becomes even less so if we decide to turn to a vegetarian or even vegan diet, and/or if we have an accelerated pace of life combined with an overflowing schedule. These last points are particularly true for many, adults but also younger people.

The richness of the powder

This is where the world of supplements comes to our rescue! Indeed, numerous preparations for nutritious drinks, often protein-based, now exist on the natural products market. There's something for everyone: meal replacement, “greens” mixes, pre- or post-workout protein drinks, etc. In this area, the Vega company, created by a vegan triathlete – Brendan Brazier, has become essential.

Vega Proteins and Greens

Among the Vega products is the Proteins and Greens range. The name says it all! Each 28g portion provides you with: 20g of plant-based proteins, in addition to green foods and all this for a maximum of 1g of sugar.

The non-GMO ingredients consist of pea protein, spinach powder, kale powder, brown rice protein, sacha inchi powder, alfalfa powder and broccoli powder. The addition of papain helps promote better protein digestion, which is important because many people have difficulty digesting proteins. Such a problem not only leads to poor assimilation, but also fermentation which is harmful to the balance of our intestine and our health.

Note that 20g of protein represents approximately a third of the daily requirement (this is of course relative to each person's weight and activity).

6 flavors are offered: vanilla, chocolate, berries, tropical, fleur de sel and caramel and unflavored. Something to please everyone.

So, who has never tried consuming a shake or smoothie instead of a meal before exercising? Come meet us if you still have questions!
