We need healthy joints!
Our joints are essential to our movement
Like our entire bodies, they were perfectly designed by Mother Nature. However, they are subject to shocks and injuries as well as partly inevitable wear. Only partly because certain of our habits (food among others) can create a terrain favorable to their degradation. We think too rarely, or too late, about preventing or controlling the wear of our cartilage. Then, one day it's time for pain, inflammation (or even damage to the underlying bone!).
The cartilage of our joints
Cartilages are non-vascularized and non-innervated tissues. They are made of cells, chondrocytes, which have a reduced capacity for regeneration. These cells “bathe” in a matrix they produce made of collagen, non-collagenous proteins and proteoglycans which retain water. It will be important not to delay too much in order to “feed” this matrix and thus preserve the functionality of the joints.
Products well suited to joint care
Obviously, the natural products market offers great solutions. The Sisu company in particular has developed a very complete range of different products adapted to joint care.
Glucosamine and chondroitin
First of all, the essential glucosamine from crustacean exoskeletons. It works in the synovial fluid to lubricate the joint, limiting pain and inflammation.
Glucosamine is also associated with chondroitin (from animal cartilage), a compound present in the joints and also very useful in osteoarthritis problems. The product Glucosamine and Chondroitin from Sisu also contains vitamin C useful for the synthesis of collagen, as well as boron and manganese.
Glucosamine and MSM
Another formula to look for is the combination of high doses (750g of each) of glucosamine and MSM , a good anti-inflammatory.
For quick relief
And finally, Sisu has created Sisu No. 7 , a “post-glucosamine” generation, designed to improve flexibility and range of motion and reduce pain in just 7 days! In addition to providing type II chicken cartilage, the formula contains several anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving extracts such as boswellia, turmeric, ginger, willow, as well as cayenne pepper and vitamin C .
