Quercétine mieux assimilable, santé optimisée

Better assimilated quercetin, optimized health

Quercetin is a compound that has received a lot of attention recently, and rightly so given its significant therapeutic potential.

It is in fact a natural pigment from the bioflavonoid family that is found in certain fruits, certain vegetables, certain plants and even certain cereals.

Why is it so interesting?

First of all, its very antioxidant nature places quercetin at the forefront in the fight against oxidative stress which affects our body. We can measure the importance of such an action by noting that oxidation is precisely the breeding ground for numerous conditions characterized by the presence of uncontrolled chronic inflammation. The properties of quercetin thus help to inhibit and reduce certain inflammatory mediators and enzymes.

Furthermore, it is interesting to note that quercetin increases the antioxidant activity of other compounds and in particular vitamin C.

Studies demonstrate the multiplicity of action of quercetin

  • It is useful in vascular health by protecting the interior walls of capillaries against inflammation.
  • It inhibits the aggregation of blood platelets (be careful if using a blood thinning medication, always remember to check if a product is suitable for you).
  • It participates in the regulation of the immune system's response to external stress factors, including influenza viruses, and to pollutants.
  • It relieves certain allergy symptoms by inhibiting the release of histamine by the body.
  • It reduces C-reactive protein, an important inflammatory marker of cardiovascular disorders.

A problematic assimilation

This important molecule, however, has a limiting factor, that of its low assimilation due to its very lipophilic nature (affinity for lipids).

In order to optimize its absorption in our intestines, Natural Factors has developed a process, Quercetin Matrix LipoMicel 250 mg. This process consists of “encapsulating” the molecule within a mini-cell, the micelle, which has a lipophilic aspect on the inside (in affinity with quercetin) and a hydrophilic aspect (affinity for water) on the outside. 'outside.

The quercetin thus prepared will be ideally dispersed in our intestines and can be assimilated 10 times more easily.

An ideal product to accompany us in these aggressive times in many ways!
