Maple & peanut granola bars
Summer is ending, but the time for hiking in the forest will continue for a long time. That's why I'm offering you this granola bar recipe to provide you with all the energy you need for your outdoor activities.
Ingredients
For 12 bars
- 1 envelope of Holos peanut and maple muesli
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/8 tsp. teaspoon of salt
- 2 eggs or flax eggs
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey or vegan honey
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In a first bowl, mix the dry ingredients. To book. In a second bowl, mix the wet ingredients.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
Line an 11” x 8” baking sheet.
Pour the mixture onto the baking tray and cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool for at least an hour. For crispy bars, return to the oven for about 10 minutes. Let cool again and cut.
