Swedish Elixir for better digestive health

The Swedish Elixir is made from a synergy of bitter plants whose primary benefit is to stimulate digestion. The bitter flavor, once in the digestive tract, contributes to the production and secretion of bile. The digestion of fats will be further improved thanks to a sufficient quantity of bile.

It is definitely possible to eat a variety of bitter foods daily. But it's even better when they're served in a sparkling, refreshing beverage. On to the recipe!

Ingredients

1/4 of a large seedless watermelon
1/2 English cucumber
Juice of a lime
4-5 fresh mint leaves
1/3 bottle of sparkling rosé wine
2 tbsp. Flora's Alcohol-Free Swedish Elixir
A zest of lime to garnish

Instructions

Cut the watermelon into cubes and freeze for at least 2 hours. By freezing it, it will give a slush texture to the cocktail. At the same time, cool the sparkling rosé.

Peel and cut the cucumber into large pieces. The peel can be used to garnish cocktails, but it is also a delicious and nutritious snack.

In a high-speed blender, add the frozen watermelon, cucumber, lime juice, mint leaves, sparkling rosé wine and Swedish Elixir. Mix for 2 to 3 minutes.

Pour into cocktail glasses and garnish with mint leaves, cucumber peel and/or lime zest.
