A delicious hot chocolate on a nice cold afternoon during the Christmas vacations, what more could you ask for? Marshmallows to go with that of course! Our Christmas hot cocoa marshmallow recipe will add a festive touch to your cozy drink. These dippers are made to be dunk in hot chocolate, but you could find yourself eating them when ever!
Makes 12 Christmas marshmallows | Prep time : 10-15 minutes | No cooking
Ingredients to prepare the Christmas hot cocoa marshmallow recipe
- 12 marshmallows
- 12 mini candy canes, plus crushed candy canes
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet, dark or white
- 1 tbsp flavorless oil, such as grapeseed oil
Steps to prepare the Christmas hot cocoa marshmallow recipe
Poke a mini candy cane into the top of each marshmallow, then set aside.
Place chocolate and oil in a microwave-safe bowl and heat at 30-second intervals stirring in between until completely melted.
Dip the bottom half of each marshmallow in the melted chocolate, shake off the excess chocolate, and roll in crushed candy canes or mini chocolate chips.
Serve with a mug of hot cocoa and enjoy your Holiday vacations!
