Low-carb, gluten-free keto lasagna recipe

Winter is the season for hot, comforting dishes fresh from the oven. A generous lasagna may be at the top of the list of favorites, but proves to be quite difficult to harmonize with a low-carb diet. That's why we have this keto lasagna recipe for you!

With the growth and popularity of the keto diet, the health food market had to get creative in an effort to provide healthy, low-carb alternatives. Thankfully, they came up with heart of palm pasta, the ones used for our low carb keto lasagna recipe. They contain only 70 calories and 2g of net carbs, they are gluten-free and help stabilize blood sugar.

Ingredients for the low-carb keto lasagna recipe

Steps to prepare the low-carb keto lasagna recipe

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a frying pan, pour the avocado oil and cook the ground beef. When the meat is well cooked, add the garlic, salt and pepper and 1 cup of tomato sauce. Reserve.

In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, eggs, seasonings, parmesan and spinach. Reserve.

In a baking dish, cover the bottom with the unused tomato sauce and cover with the keto lasagna noodles. Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Cover with half of the meat sauce. Cover again with pasta. Spread with remaining ricotta cheese mixture, then add meat sauce. Cover with pasta. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and return to oven for 10 minutes. Broil for about 5 minutes to lightly brown the top.
