Ingredients for the gluten-free chocolate mug cake recipe
- 4 tbsp all-purpose gluten-free flour
- 4 tbsp cane sugar
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp milk - plant based milk will work too
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp chocolate-hazelnut spread
- Small splash of vanilla extract
- 1 large coffee mug (microwave safe)
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
- Ground cinnamon for dusting (optional)
Instructions for the gluten-free chocolate mug cake recipe
Add the dry ingredients to the mug and mix well.
Add the egg and mix.
Add the milk and the oil and mix.
Add the chocolate chips and the vanilla and mix.
Add the chocolate-hazelnut spread on top and carefully mix just enough to allow it to sink into the batter.
Put the mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high.
Allow it to cool a bit, the mug will be hot.
Dust with powdered sugar, cocoa powder, brown sugar or cinnamon for an added touch of deliciousness.
Eat the whole thing right away!
