Chicken satay skewers recipe
Ingredients for the Chicken Satay Skewers recipe
- 500g chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers, pre-soaked in water
Preparation for Chicken Satay Skewers recipe
Cut chicken breasts into medium-sized pieces and thread onto soaked skewers.
In a bowl, mix vegetable oil, soy sauce, honey, peanut butter, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt and pepper to prepare marinade.
Pour marinade over chicken skewers, making sure to coat well. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, ideally longer for better taste.
Preheat grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
Once the marinade is well impregnated, place the brochettes on the hot grill and cook for approximately 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and the chicken is cooked through.
Serve the chicken satay skewers hot, with a peanut sauce or sweet soy sauce for extra flavor.
