Ingredients for the Tom Yum Soup Recipe
3 cups of water or broth
2 tbsp Mekhala Tom Yum Paste
200 g of shrimp or cubed tofu
100 g of sliced mushrooms
1 diced tomato
1 tbsp tamari sauce
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp maple syrup
Fresh cilantro and sliced chili for garnish (to taste)
Instructions for the Tom Yum Soup Recipe
In a pot, bring the water or broth to a boil.
Add Mekhala Tom Yum Paste and stir to dissolve.
Stir in the mushrooms and tomato. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add shrimp or tofu and cook for 3 minutes (until shrimp turns pink or tofu is heated through).
Stir in tamari, lime juice, and maple syrup.
Serve hot with jasmine rice, garnished with fresh cilantro and chili to taste.
