Orange and matcha salad

A delicious green salad garnished with juicy pieces of orange. A plate full of vitality and vitamins for a healthy winter!

The secret ingredient of this recipe, Matcha from the Do Matcha company. This authentic Japanese green tea offers you a very high amount of antioxidants. In addition, its consumers particularly appreciate the little boost of energy and concentration it gives them.

On to the recipe!

Ingredients

For 2 people

  • 1 C. tsp DōMatcha powder
  • 1 C. 1 teaspoon grapeseed oil
  • 2 tbsp. teaspoon agave or honey
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 1 C. teaspoon hot water
  • 1 cup of lettuce of your choice
  • 1 orange (half to slice for the salad and the other half to extract the juice)
  • 1 C. teaspoon orange juice
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of goat cheese (for a vegan alternative, use fauxmage or toasted cashews)

Preparation

Mix DoMatcha powder with hot water in a small bowl.

Add the grapeseed oil and agave. Then add the orange juice and salt. Mix well.

Place lettuce in a bowl or plate. Add the orange pieces.

Break up or cut the goat cheese by hand into small pieces. Sprinkle over the salad.

When ready to serve, drizzle the Matcha vinaigrette over the salad.

Garnish with fresh sprouts and various nuts or seeds.
