Ingredients for turmeric chai latte tea recipe
- 2 bags of chai tea
- 3/4 cup (175 mL) boiling water
- 1 star anise pod
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2 tsp (10 mL) turmeric blend
- 1 cup (250 mL) almond milk
- honey or maple syrup to taste
Preparation for the turmeric chai latte recipe
In boiling water, infuse the tea bags, star anise and cinnamon for 5 minutes.
Sift. Stir into turmeric blend.
Steam the almond milk until hot and frothy. If you don't have a milk frother, a saucepan will do
Add the chai tea and the sweetener if desired and stir to combine.
Pour into two cups and sprinkle with a little turmeric blend.
