More commonly known as "chamomile", the Roman chamomile is used in culinary, medicinal (particularly paeaned) and cosmetic use. The essential oil of Roman chamomile is  precious. It takes about 100 kg of flowers to produce between 400 ml and 900 ml of essential oil.

Use

The essential oil of Roman chamomile is used in aromatherapy for its calming, sedative and antispasmodic effects. It also helps relieve stress, insomnia, headaches and migraines.

Posology
