Anise - Star organic , or Badiane, was discovered and introduced in Europe by Marco Polo on the return of his travels in the thirteenth and fourteenth century. Star-shaped, the fruit of the Badiane is gathered and sun-dried while still green which renders it red-brown.

Well-known for its fragrance, Anise - Star is used in the preparation of many pastries, spice mixes, tisanes and liqueurs such as Anisette, Pastis, Ouzo and Sambuca. The essential oil is obtained from the distillation of the Anise - Star seeds.

Dosage

Topical (adults):mix 1 to 2 drops in 1 teaspoon (5ml) of vegetable oil; Apply on the belly, 3 times a day.

Use

Anise star is used in aromatherapy as antispasmodic to relieve colic, indigestion, bloating and abdominal cramps.

For external and occasional use only. Do not use orally. Do not use undiluted essential oil. Keep out of reach of children.
