Small shrub from Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand with white and fragrant flowers. Also called New Zealand Tea-Tree, it has antibacterial properties. Be careful, however, not to confuse it with the true tree tree or tea tree that is actually the Melaleuca Alternifolia.

Use:

Manuka's essential oil is used in aromatherapy for the symptomatic relief of acne and boils as well as to relieve minor irritation of the skin, cuts, bruises and minor burns.

DOSAGE:

Topical (adults):mix 5 drops in 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of vegetable oil; Apply on the affected part, 3 times a day.

In case of accidental ingestion, request emergency medical care or call an antipoison center. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you have epilepsy or asthma, consult a health care practitioner before using this product. If nausea, dizziness, headaches or allergic reaction occurs, cease use and consult a health care practitioner if the symptoms worsen or persist. Do not use on an inflamed, damaged, irritated, sensitive skin or in case of dermatitis. Avoid exposing areas treated in the sun.
