Chia Ground White Organic

One serving (2 tbsp.) of chia meets 230% to 350% of your daily plant-based omega-3 (ALA). Since the body isn’t capable of building this type of fatty acid, which is essential for brain function, it’s important to get a good quantity of it in your diet. Chia seeds are a good source of healthy fats and a quarter of this is ALA fatty acids.

Chia is so easy to integrate to your diet! Its taste is mild and won’t alter the flavour of your dishes. Add chia to your favourite cereal, yogurt, smoothies, juices, cakes, soups, sauces, salads, dressings.

Chia seeds are an excellent substitute for eggs! Soak 1 tablespoon of ground chia seeds in 3 tablespoons of water for each egg your recipe requires.

Culinary use

Chia seeds are easily integrated into the daily diet. Their taste is very light, so they do not alter the flavors of your dishes. Add chia to your smoothies, juices, lemonades and other beverages, or in your soups, salads and sauces. Sprinkle chia on your oatmeal, yogurt and cereal. Use chia in your cake recipes as an egg substitute or as a gluten-free thickener.
