Originally from Nepal, the odorante Gauthie is a small and white flower shrub that leaves in winter to violated red berries. When one crumples its leaves, emerges a strong drug smell. Cousin of the lying gault, whose name comes from the Canadian botanist J.F. GAULTHER, the odorante Gauthie is recognized to combat muscle pain. The essential oil, distillation of leaves, is highly concentrated in methyl salicylate (99%). Its smell is very characteristic of the balms used in the field of sports medicine.

Use:

The essential oil of fragrant Gaultheria is used in aromatherapy to temporarily relieve muscle and articular pain associated with back pain, lighting, pulling, bruises, sprains and arthritic pain.

DOSAGE:

Topic (adults):Mix 1 to 2 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of vegetable oil; Apply locally 3 times a day.
