The common beech (Beech in English) or Fagus Sylvatica is a tree of the Fagaceae family. Its peculiarity is to live away from many plants, because rare are those who can develop at its foot. Under a rather dominating appearance, it is vulnerable to strong winds because of the superficiality of its rooting. The common beech is a tree that is frequently found in isolated, in beech forests or near the sylvestral pine and spruce. Benefiting from the protection of other trees, it can reach a height of forty meters and live between two hundred and three hundred years. On the botanical level, the beech has a blackish gray bark, smooth and fine, which frequently covers epiphytic plants. Its cupal foliage is composed of light green alternate leaves, crenellated, oval-shaped, which take in autumn copper tones. This monoophic tree carries male and female flowers - the kittens - that flourish in the spring just after the leafing. Its fruits, called the chains, are akenes whose physical aspect evokes small chestnuts. The common beech begins to grow when it reaches about sixty years. Ingredients : Grape Alcohol 27% V / V, aqueous solution of Fagus flowers Sylvatica L. (1/500 dilution).
