Mimulus:the bach flower of trust More than a plant, the mimule brings together nearly 180 species that come in the form of annual plants, perennials and shrubs. One of them is used to design the famous Bach Flower Mimulus whose virtues help control, among other things, emotions. From a purely botanical point of view, the mimule is a herbaceous plant that particularly appreciates the hot and wet environments with watercourses, lakes or marshy areas. Its roots constantly struggling to maintain the flowers on the surface of live streams, this plant is known for its courage and taste of risk. It is found mainly on the American continent, but also in Asia, South Africa and Australia. The mimule is sometimes qualified as "flower-monkey" because some species display a morphology that looks like a monkey face. Others are nicknamed "Flowers-Musc" with reference to their odorous fragrances. But the most common species remains the mimulus guttatus. This perennial with persistent and serrated foliage proudly has its yellow flowers tinged with red and typically grouped into clusters. It flowers from the summer until autumn. Annual plant, this eminent member of the Scrophulariaceae family can reach up to 80 cm in height when it flourishes in ideal sunshine conditions. Ingredients : Grape alcohol 27% v / v, aqueous solution of flowers of mimulus guttatus dc (1/500 dilution).
