Plumbago

Cerato is a plumbago of the family of plumbaginaceae also called Ceratostigma Willmottianum. This little structured growth shrub is appreciated for its abundant flowering. Each flower lasts a short time, but leaves room for new blue to the variable tone. In the wild, he rivals with no other plant because it does not produce seeds. But in our gardens, with its spreading port and its rich flowering, the plumbago despite its delicate look knows how to impose itself by its beauty and rusticity on a trigger, a wall or in a slope. Excellent floor covers, it can reach 1.50 m large. Little demanding, it is satisfied with a well-drained soil and appreciates a pretty stern spring size to find its beautiful vigor. In purely botanical terms, the plumbago has a bright green caduc foliage with vulnerable leaves, oval stretch. In autumn, the foliage becomes reddish bronze before falling. From June to November, the plumbago is covered with flowers in the shape of stars grouped into elegant bouquets carried by rods with purple tone. Ingredients : Grape Alcohol 27% V / V, aqueous solution of Ceratostigma Willmottiana Stapf flowers. (1/500 dilution).
