Curcumin, the yellow pigment in turmeric (Curcuma longa), has the ability to block more than 30 different inflammation pathways, but regular curcumin is poorly absorbed, rapidly metabolized, and quickly excreted. Theracurmin is an advanced form of curcumin widely used to promote a healthy inflammatory response and for potent antioxidant protection against free radicals.
