The flower of salt crystallizes on the surface of salt marshes during hot summer days. It is picked in bloom for water to keep its white color, then naturally dried in the sun so that its wealth and taste will be optimal. Our sea salt is a source of minerals (sodium, magnesium, potassium, calcium) and trace elements (iron, manganese, zinc). Did you know? The higher price of the fleur de sel is mainly determined by the fact that it is harvested by hand.

Our salt, harvested by hand in the salt marshes of the island of Noirmoutier, does not undergo other techniques only drying in the sun and grinding when you want to get a finer grain. This artisanal process leaves salt its natural gray color.
