Natural Factors 5-HTP 100 mg provides a free-form amino acid in extended-release caplets. 5-HTP is a direct precursor to serotonin, which helps support a healthy emotional balance. It also helps relieve sleep disturbances related to mood imbalances, ease symptoms of fibromyalgia, and reduce the intensity and duration of migraines when used preventively. The extended-release caplets gradually release 5-HTP to minimize gastrointestinal upset and allow for a more stable increase in serotonin levels.
