TMG (Trimethylglycine) has been shown to be a safe and effective methyl donor to facilitate methylation processes. Methylation can be inhibited by poor or inadequate diet and an unhealthy lifestyle. Methylation is an important step in the conversion of homocysteine, a harmful amino acid, to methionine, a biologically safe and beneficial amino acid. Additionally, methylation is necessary for DNA repair, as well as the production of SAMe, which helps maintain joint tissue health.
