Florasil® is a unique plant extract that fights the physical effects of aging by strengthening connective tissues, nails, hair and skin. Orthosilic acid (H4SIO4) is the silica found in its soluble shape in the plants and the ocean. It is in this form that it is used and happens in the body, connective tissues and bones. It has been shown to help strengthen nails and hair. Young shoots from field horses are one of the best sources of orthosilic acid. Florasil® is extracted from these thanks to a delicate water extraction method. This patented method has been developed by the deceased Dr. Louis Kervran, French researcher and scientist. It is only the silica soluble in water, orthosilicic acid, which is extracted as well. Being from a vegetable source, flavonoids and complex sugars also facilitate the complete absorption of Florasil® mineral extract.
