Séné (sheet)

Used in herbal medicine as a light laxative in case of occasional constipation.

Medicinal ingredient by table spoon:

1 g dried sheet of Cassia Angustifolia (Séné).

Recommended dosage (adult):

Maceride 2 tablespoons in a cup of cold water for 8 hours. Drink a cup at bedtime. Allocate 6 to 12 hours in order to be able to see the laxative effects. Do not use during the 2 hours preceding or taking the taking of another medicine.

Duration of use:

Do not take any type of laxative for more than a week, except on the advice of a health care practitioner. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use if the bag is not sealed.
