LA Baumier Fir Gum has been used traditionally in herbal medicine to help relieve respiratory trallings such as colds and bronchitis. ot Respiratory Tract Infections Higher are acute conditions due to viral or bacterial infection affecting the upper respiratory tract. Bronchitis is characterized by inflammation of the bronchi, the ducts that lead the air inspired by the trachea to the lungs. Inflammation makes breathing more difficult because the walls of the bronchi are swollen and produce a significant amount of mucus. Bronchitis is accompanied by a deep cough. ot The cold is a very frequent infection of the nose (or more precisely nasal pits) and throat, caused by a virus. Also called viral or acute rhinitis, it causes a sore throat, sneezing, a stuffy nuzzle (nasal congestion) and a nasal flow. These symptoms appear gradually, and usually persist for 5 to 7 days, 2 weeks at most.
