<The modified citrus pectin in HM Complex can bind to low levels of heavy metals that the body can eliminate as waste, but it doesn't seem to have the same effect with other minerals, notably calcium, magnesium and zinc. Other important ingredients in this formula include sulforaphane, derived from a concentrate of broccoli sprouts, for detoxification and protection against oxidative stress (an imbalance of free radicals and antioxidants). It also includes chlorella, which has long been traditionally used for detoxification, in particular to help regulate current exposure to heavy metals.
