Lutein (25 mg) and zeaxanthin (5 mg) from a natural source in a convenient dose of one capsule a day for healthy sight and to help prevent macular degeneration and cataracts. PréVision is a rich source of two vision-critical pigments, lutein and zeaxanthin, which help form a yellow filter called the macula or yellow spot. This specialized tissue helps protect the retina from the sun's harmful rays, as well as from the blue light emitted by artificial lighting and electronic devices. Responsible for central vision, the macula protects the part of the retina where colors and details are distinguished. Specialized macular pigments also protect the central part of the retina responsible for fine visual acuity.
