Long used by the ancient Bedouins of the desert, date seed coffee is made from roasted and ground date pits. Unusual and exotic, it is a coffee substitute known for its multiple virtues. Date pits contains 10 times more polyphenols, known for their antioxidant properties, than the date itself. It is rich in minerals (5 g/100 g or 60% of the recommended daily allowance) and fibre.

Date seeds can be eaten from morning to night, without risk of digestive problems or insomnia. Its pleasant smell and taste appeal to young and old alike!

Enhance flavour by adding spices such as cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, black or white pepper and nutmeg.
