Desmodium (Desmodium molliculum), also known as Manayupa, is a plant found in West Africa and Latin America. It is traditionally used by physicians in Ghana to treat liver and lung disorders. It is also used by tribes of the Amazon rainforest to help relieve certain digestive symptoms, anxiety, and inflammatory pain.

Our Desmodium flowers are grown outdoors according to organic farming standards, without genetic modification. The leaves are hand-harvested, dried, and ground into powder by farmers in the Andes Mountains in Peru. This plant is known for helping cleanse the body during detoxification programs without side effects. There are 34 varieties of Desmodium, but only the effectiveness of Desmodium molliculum has been supported by extensive research and studies.
