Metabolix™ AMPK is an orthomolecular combination of ingredients that together contribute to the activation of AMPK with beneficial effects on metabolic syndrome.

Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a set of health problems created by insulin resistance (IR) that include: fat accumulation (particularly around the waist), high blood pressure, high triglycerides (lipid levels in the blood), high blood sugar and low levels of "good" cholesterol (HDL). Together, these factors accelerate aging and increase the risk of coronary heart disease such as myocardial infarction, stroke and diabetes.
