Maca Chacon (Lepidium meyenii) is a plant native to the high plateaus of the Andes Mountains at 3,500 m altitude. It was used by the Incas as a food source and later for its therapeutic properties and its effects on sexuality and fertility. Our Maca Chacon plants are grown outdoors according to organic farming standards, without genetic modification. They are hand-harvested, dried, and ground into powder by farmers in the Junín region of Peru. The richness of the glacial sediments of the Junín plateau provides a remarkable concentration of 150 active compounds. It is rich in minerals, trace elements, and amino acids.
Dosage: 3 vegetable capsules once or twice daily (as needed).
