The essential oil lime oil is used in aromatherapy to help relieve colds and coughs as well as for symptomatic relief of acne and boils.

Lime (Sour Lime) was originally grown in India or Malaysia but quickly made its way around the Mediterranean and into America. Sour lime essential oil, derived from the fruit, is excellent for fighting coughs and colds

Posology

Topic (adults):mix 1 to 5 drops in 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of vegetable oil; Apply locally, 3 times a day. Inhalation (respiratory system):Add 4 to 12 drops in a bowl of boiling water or a diffuser. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes.
