PROPERTIES
Cattier Ready-to-use Green Clay can be used as a beauty mask or poultice for its benefits to the skin and body. Absorbent, purifying and regenerating, Cattier Ready to Use Green Clay is particularly well-suited to the care of combination to oily skin. It absorbs and regulates excess sebum, eliminates toxins and impurities, revitalizes the skin and promotes cell renewal. It is also antiseptic and softening. Rich in micro-nutrients, it provides the skin and body with minerals and trace elements. Healing and remineralizing, Cattier Green Clay relieves joint and muscle pain, burns, sore throats (combined with lavender essential oil), abscesses, scars, skin irritations, as well as bloating and other stomach aches.

TIPS
As a beauty mask: apply the clay paste in a thick layer to the face and neck, avoiding the eye and lip contours. Leave on for around 10 minutes, without letting the mask dry on the skin. Rinse off with lukewarm water and dry skin with a cotton towel. Follow with a moisturizing cream.

As a cataplasm
Place the clay paste on a natural fabric and spread with a non-metallic spatula to a thickness of 2-3 cm. Apply the poultice, leaving the clay in direct contact with the skin, and hold it loosely in place with a bandage. If the poultice is to be applied to an irritated area, interpose a light gauze between the clay and the skin. Leave the poultice on for at least an hour. To remove, remove as much clay as possible, if necessary by moistening, then rinse the skin with lukewarm water and dry with a cotton towel.
