Yupik’s organic green lentils are incredibly versatile and delicious dried whole legume. Like pasta, lentils can be cooked in boiling salted water. They cook for about 30 minutes (until tender but still slightly crunchy), or until they reach the desired consistency.

Tender with a mild, earthy flavor, they can easily replace meat in meals; they can also be added to salads and soups. They blend and mash well, if you want to add more texture, thickness, and flavor to your recipes.

Rich in soluble fiber, which helps lower cholesterol, reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, and stabilize blood sugar levels.
