Frankincense - Somalia (B. Carterii) Organic

The incense or Oliban is an aromatic resin resulting from several shrubs or trees (about twenty species) all belonging to the genus Boswellia. This resin or gum is extracted and harvested by incision of the trunk. The essential oil is obtained by water vapor distillation of this resin. Considered valuable, incense was once exchanged in the same way as gold. Known for millennia in traditional medicines, used in different religions, we recognize several virtues and a sacred character.  

Posology

Topical (Adults) Mix 2 to 4 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of vegetable oil; apply to the affected area 3 times a day. Inhalation Add 4 to 12 drops to a bowl of steaming hot water or a diffuser. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes.
