The ginger , and especially its root, is commonly known as antivomitive. Chinese women traditionally consume ginger root during pregnancy to combat the nausea of the morning. The transport pain also called ainet, is manifested by various symptoms, the most frequent of which are dizziness, fatigue and nausea. Cinematosis manifests itself in a situation of discrepancy between the visual perception of movement or displacement and its perception by the vestibular system. For example, some people can not read by car because they do not visually perceive the movement of the car (they do not look outside) while the inner ear feels, hence an offset in perception.

The sea pain,  also called Naupathie, is a form of cinematose characterized by nausea and, in more extreme cases, by vertigo, following a period of time spent on a boat on the water. As before, it is caused by the swinging of the boat and the offset between the information felt and observed. The person feels via the vestibular system the pitch or roll of the boat, but can not visually perceive it without fixed point to observe at sea.
