Digestion is carried out, among other things, by the phenomenon of peristalsis, designating the contraction of the intestines which allows the progress of the food in the digestive tract. Constipation refers to a delay or difficulty in evacuating the stool. The formula of the Strong> Laxative of yesteryear contains 3 complementary medicinal ingredients, combining stimulating and emollient laxatives. The emollient laxatives have the function of softening the stool by promoting the water absorption work by them, and thus their passage to allow easier evacuation. Stimulating laxatives increase peristalsis, or intestinal motor skills.

Medicinal Ingredients:

Cascara Sagrada (Frangula Purshiana, Elderly bark) 100 mg Fierce Aloe (Aloe Ferox, Leaf) 83 mg Red elm (Ulmus rubra, internal bark (stem)) 20 mg

Non-medicinal ingredients:

Canola oil, Canadian fir needles, gelatin, glycerine, white bee wax, purified water and activated charcoal.
