Constipation refers to a delay or difficulty in evacuating the stool. The formula of the Strong> Laxative of yesteryear contains 3 complementary medicinal ingredients, combining stimulating and emollient laxatives. The emollient laxatives have the function of softening the stool by promoting the water absorption work by them, and thus their passage to allow easier evacuation. Stimulating laxatives increase peristalsis, or intestinal motor skills.
