It is produced from the fermentation of red yeast with rice. Our formula contains 500 mg of red rice yeast and 150 mg free vegetable sterols. red rice yeast Plus is a natural way to lower total blood cholesterol as well as LDL, both risk factors for cardiovascular disease and stroke. It stops the enzymatic processes that contribute to the formation of cholesterol, while plant sterols decrease blood cholesterol by blocking the absorption of food cholesterol in the intestines.
