Prunier Myrobolan

The Flower of Bach Prunier Myrobolan contains an aqueous extract of Prunus Cerasifera. In the current language, it is called Prunier-Cherry, Prunier Myrobolan, or simply "Myrobolan". Originally from South-West Asia and Southeast European, it comes in the form of a shrub up to between five and ten meters high in adulthood. Its five-petal flowers with golden stamens, leaves, oval and serrated, come to cover its naked twigs at the same time towards the end of winter or early spring. The clusters of flowers, a bright white, usually offer a contrast striking with the very dark branches of the myrobolan plum:they seem literally illuminating the darkness. Towards the end of the summer, the shrub then takes care of red fruits, quite similar to cherries. Edible, they are often used to prepare jams. Rustic, Prunus Cerasifera supports temperatures below 0 ° C. It can be grown in almost all types of soils (including limestone soils), as long as it benefits from a sunny location. In France, it is often used as a "transplant" for other types of plum trees like the Damascus plum tree for example.
