It can be incorporated into beaten egg whites to create hazelnut macaroons. Replace 30% of wheat flour with hazelnut flour to add a wonderful texture and rich and buttered flavor to your cooking. Which will reduce the total carbohydrates. Ideal for those who follow a diet low in carbohydrates or paleo. Hazelnut flour is exceptional in pastries, pie crusts, cakes, cookies, pancakes and fast breads. It can also be used in salty applications. Use there in the place of breadcrumbs in meatballs or as coating for chicken and fish. Combine with almond flour for a deliciously complex nut flavor. As for hazelnut butter, keep the hazelnut flour in the refrigerator or freezer to preserve the freshness.
