Native perennial grass from India, Sri Lanka or Thailand, the Verbena of Indies , also called lemongrass, is grown for its stems and leaves with strong aromatic qualities (lemon taste). These kinds of herbaceous plants called Cymbopogon comprises about fifty species from Asia, introduced and naturalized since most tropical countries, for their culinary and medicinal aromatic properties. Do not confuse with leminerass melting, also called lemitrale (Melissa officinalis L. Perennial plant of the Lamiaceae family).

Use:

The essential oil of Verbena of India is used in aromatherapy to relieve muscle and articular pain caused by sports injuries.

DOSAGE:

Topic (Adults):Mix 2 to 3 drops, in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of vegetable oil; Apply 3 times a day, locally.
