The combination of K and D vitamins is increasing the bone mineral density, which there are only these vitamins taken alone. The high doses of vitamin K reduce the risk of fractures and that large quantities of the vitamin in question would be correlated with an upper DMO and the increase in osteoformation in some women. A comparative search with placebo has proved that the MK-7, the form of vitamin k which is in vitamin K2 A D3, increases bone mineralization and thus significantly reduces the loss of DMO, fortifies bones and reduces the risk of fractures. It has also been shown that vitamin D increases bone density and reduces hip fractures from 43 to 60%.
